Project Based Learning (PBL) aims to cultivate a perspective that enables students to integrate knowledge fostered in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences and to develop the ability to propose solutions to contemporary social issues. The purpose of this class is to create an Internet literacy education program for elementary and junior-high school students. Under the right conditions, the class may actually conduct educational practices with teachers and students in the field.

With the implementation of the GIGA school concept, problems related to Internet use by elementary and junior-high school students are becoming more serious. The participants will share the issues and difficulties the teachers and parents face in schools or their homes, propose solutions through group work, and through discussions, produce teaching materials for Internet literacy education (video materials, applications that can be used on tablets, etc.), which will be put into practice at school sites when conditions are right.
